Why we exist
People often know what they want to accomplish without knowing which application can help. Tactic Foundry organizes software by task, category, platform, and business model so discovery can begin with a practical goal instead of a product name.
What we do
We maintain an editorial directory, explain what each application is designed to do, identify listed platforms and pricing models, and direct visitors to developer, project, or recognized storefront destinations. We do not host third-party installers or publish invented ratings, download counts, or user reviews.
How official-source labels work
Verified official source means Tactic Foundry recorded a dated review identifying the destination as belonging to the software's developer, project, or a recognized official store. It does not mean the software is certified safe, security-audited, suitable for every user, or guaranteed to remain available. Listings without retained verification evidence use the more limited Official source listed wording.
How software is selected
Listings prioritize practical value, a legitimate developer or project identity, a working official destination, clear platform information, and a defensible category fit. Inclusion does not imply endorsement, partnership, certification, or affiliation.
Learning tools for children
Child-focused listings are discovery resources for parents, guardians, and educators. Age ranges, content, account requirements, advertising, subscriptions, privacy practices, and school approval can change. Adults should review the developer's current guidance and supervise use as appropriate.
Corrections
Software changes. Developers and users can report incorrect information for manual review. Corrections are checked before a listing is updated.
